FORECAST

TONIGHT

Expect some upper-level energy to spark showers and thunderstorms along the Rio Grande and nearby areas overnight, continuing into the early morning hours. While most areas might stay dry, a stray shower could pop up here and there.

TOMORROW

As an upper-level low pressure system moves closer, the chances of rain will increase. We might see some storms rolling in from Mexico before sunrise. Throughout the day, the heat will trigger scattered downpours across South Texas. Some of these showers could last for 15 to 20 minutes, while others might linger for over an hour. Think of it as a game of luck—like a “rain lottery!”

WEEKEND AND BEYOND

During the weekend, you might see a few stray afternoon showers, but don’t worry too much—next week looks to be dry and warmer. In fact, rain chances will come to a halt as we move into the new week.
