Skies will be mostly sunny, with just a few high clouds floating by, and no rain is anticipated.

TURNING UP THE HEAT
The hottest weather of the week is on the horizon as we approach the end of July. Temperatures are expected to climb into the 100°–105° range by Thursday and Friday due to a strong ridge of high pressure strengthening over the area. When you factor in the humidity, the heat index could soar to 105°–110°, especially in lower areas and Coastal Plains. If these higher values are confirmed, we might see heat-related advisories issued, so keep an eye out!

EXTENDED OUTLOOK
We can expect a continuation of sunshine, dry conditions, and those pesky triple-digit temperatures through Friday.
