SAN ANTONIO – A peaceful day at The Quarry Golf Course took a serious turn over the weekend when a dispute between two men turned into a physical fight. This incident highlights the importance of conflict resolution and the potential consequences of letting anger escalate.
Around 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, police received a call to respond to the golf course located in the 400 block of East Basse Road. According to reports, the two men, both in their 50s and part of the same group, got into a heated argument.
The situation escalated quickly; one man struck the other with a golf club. In retaliation, the second man pulled out a knife and stabbed his opponent. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were non-life-threatening, and the injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The man who wielded the knife was detained by the police at the scene, and both individuals involved are currently under investigation. As the police continue to gather information, they stress the importance of resolving disputes peacefully and avoiding violent confrontations.
