FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
TODAY
Today, we’re keeping a close eye on a potential tropical storm, named Arthur, which may appear in the Gulf this afternoon. Don’t worry; it won’t affect our weather too much, aside from nudging temperatures higher. Any significant rainfall from Arthur is expected to be directed toward Louisiana.
Expect a mix of clouds this morning, giving way to plenty of sunshine later in the day. High temperatures are likely to soar into the low 90s. However, with the high humidity, it will feel much hotter. Heat index values could range from 100°F to 105°F during the hottest hours.

EXTREME HEAT WARNING THURSDAY
Tomorrow, temperatures will climb even higher, reaching the upper 90s. This means heat index values could briefly surpass 110°F in San Antonio. While we are used to hot weather, these heat indices are unusually high. If you work outdoors or plan to be outside for extended periods, exercise extreme caution.

RAIN CHANCES RETURN FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
Friday will also be hot, but there’s a silver lining! A weak cold front is expected to slide into the area by Friday evening. Although it might fade away quickly, it could bring some relief from the heat and spark a few storms. Additionally, an area of low pressure over the Rio Grande may help trigger storms on Friday night and into Saturday.
