Witte Museum plans to lead Holiday River Parade as grand marshal, River Walk official says

SAN ANTONIO – Exciting news for fans of holiday festivities! The San Antonio River Walk is gearing up for its annual Holiday River Parade, and this year’s theme is all about making dreams come true. River Walk Operations Director, Roslyn Castaneda, shared the details during a press conference at the Witte Museum.

In a special highlight, the Witte Museum, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary, has been named the Grand Marshal for this year’s parade. This recognition not only honors the museum’s long-standing contribution to the community but also adds a unique touch to the festivities.

The Holiday River Parade has become a cherished tradition in San Antonio, attracting over 75,000 attendees each year. It marks the official start of the Christmas season in downtown San Antonio, creating a magical atmosphere along the beautiful River Walk.
