SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized after a shocking incident on the Northwest Side of San Antonio. The event unfolded just after 2 p.m. on Vance Jackson, right under the busy Interstate 10.
According to reports, the victim was simply walking under the bridge when he was unexpectedly attacked. He described the assailant as a “random” person who struck him in the head with a rusty machete that had “no handle.” This type of attack is not only alarming but also raises concerns about safety in public areas.

Law enforcement officials later discovered a machete that matched the victim’s description across the highway, which could be a crucial piece of evidence in identifying the attacker. They believe that the suspect was wearing an aqua-colored shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
The police department is currently reviewing surveillance video from the area to gather more information about the attack and the individual responsible. This incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of violence and the importance of staying vigilant in public spaces.
