Kee and Charles were apprehended without any issues and were booked into the same detention center where they previously worked. Meanwhile, arrangements are in place for Garcia’s arrest, but he is currently on administrative leave and is not considered a flight risk.

Sheriff Joshua Ray emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating, “I have zero tolerance for this type of misconduct in the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office.” He stressed that every individual in the detention facility deserves basic dignity and that those who violate these standards will be held accountable and face prosecution under Texas law.

This incident highlights the critical need for oversight and accountability in detention facilities, ensuring that all inmates are treated fairly and with respect. The outcomes of the investigation will be closely watched as the community seeks justice and reassurance regarding the treatment of individuals in custody.
