NUECES & FRIO RIVERS
It’s taking a while for the nearly 500 billion gallons of rainwater from last week to drain into Choke Canyon and Lake Corpus Christi along the Nueces and Frio Rivers. Areas like Cotulla and Tilden are still experiencing flooding. Expect the river to remain at major flood stage through the weekend for those in Cotulla and downstream along the Nueces.
