SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot at a pool in an apartment complex on the Northwest Side of San Antonio on Sunday evening, according to reports from the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

The incident occurred just before 7:40 p.m. at the Altitude Apartments, located in the 5200 block of Fredericksburg Road, which is near Loop 410. Witnesses say that during a heated argument, one of the individuals involved tried to leave the area.

As the victim attempted to exit, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds, striking the man. Emergency services were called, and he was quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The shooter fled the scene before the police arrived, and as of Sunday night, no arrests had been made. Officers mentioned that nobody at the apartment complex was able to identify the suspect, which complicates the investigation.

This situation is still developing, and authorities are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available. The SAPD is working diligently to gather details and ensure community safety.
