What you need to know this morning

Hey everyone! If you’re in San Antonio, you might want to grab your raincoat today. Moist air coming in from the Gulf and a cool front approaching from the north are set to create some stormy weather, with heavy rainfall expected!
THIS MORNING
Right now, flash flooding is a real concern, with some areas reporting as much as 6 inches of rain. If you’re driving, be careful of water-covered roads and construction zones. It’s a good idea to take it slow and stay safe!
MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY
Expect a brief break in the rain by mid-morning, but don’t let your guard down! A low-pressure system just south of San Antonio could bring more rain Monday night through Tuesday.
A Flood Watch is in effect now through Tuesday evening.

This system is likely to bring heavy rains, especially to areas south of the city and along the Texas coast. Rain chances will start to decrease as the system moves east late Tuesday.
That’s why it’s essential to stay updated, as the entire region is under a FLOOD WATCH until 7 pm Tuesday.
THE REST OF THE WEEK
Looking ahead, Thursday is expected to be very hot! But don’t worry, rain will make a comeback in the forecast on Friday and throughout the weekend.
