SATURDAY
This Saturday is shaping up to be hot and humid, with temperatures reaching the low 90s. However, the humidity will make it feel more like 100° or higher! Keep an eye out for a few stray showers, but they shouldn’t be too disruptive. Expect about 20% to 30% chance of rain throughout the day, clearing up after sunset. So if you’re heading out to a Spurs watch party, you should still be good to cheer on the team, even if it gets a bit toasty. Go Spurs Go!
SUNDAY
On Sunday, we can expect slightly higher chances of rainfall at about 40%. There might also be some rumbles of thunder, particularly in the afternoon. Nevertheless, it will primarily remain hot and humid.
TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT? NOT SO FAST…
You may have come across alarming headlines on social media or news outlets suggesting a tropical system is brewing in the Gulf. However, this is misleading and is often used as clickbait to draw attention. The reality is that the National Hurricane Center is monitoring an area of storms in the Bay of Campeche, but it currently has only a 20% chance of developing into a tropical system. It’s simply a disorganized area of storms with a lot of moisture.
