FORECAST

⚠ HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE TODAY ⚠

Get ready for a wet day ahead! The first round of storms is expected to hit San Antonio between 8 am and 10 am. But after that, it’s going to be tricky to predict when the next wave of storms will come. Expect multiple rounds of storms today, with some breaks in between. Keep in mind that wherever it rains, there could be street flooding and strong storms. Be on the lookout for quarter-sized hail and damaging wind gusts, but the biggest concern is heavy downpours.

A flood watch has been issued for tonight through Monday, with the main threat for heavy rainfall occurring on Saturday.

SUNDAY & MONDAY

The highest chance of storms this weekend is Saturday. Expect calmer weather on Sunday and Monday.

If you have outdoor plans for Memorial Day weekend, you’re in luck! Sunday and Monday should bring quieter conditions. While there’s a chance of isolated storms, they will mainly depend on how warm it gets during the afternoons. On Sunday, there’s about a 30% chance of rain, with even lower odds expected on Memorial Day.

NEXT WEEK

After a break from widespread rain on Sunday and Monday, another low-pressure system will be moving across South Central Texas. This will increase the chances of storms again on Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Then, expect drier and warmer weather as the week wraps up.
