LAKES, RIVERS, AND BEACH UPDATE

Despite some recent rainfall, lake levels are still below normal and are continuing to drop. River flows are also slow, so while you can still enjoy tubing this weekend, just be aware that it may take longer to float down the river.

If you’re heading to Port A or Rockport this weekend, you’re in for fantastic beach weather with sunny skies and highs around 80 degrees. Just keep in mind that the water temperatures are still on the chilly side, sitting in the upper-60s.
