WARM AND DRY

It looks like we’re in for some warm and dry weather ahead! Unfortunately, the chances of rain are practically nonexistent for the foreseeable future. This ongoing dry spell is likely to worsen drought conditions in our area, so it’s something to keep an eye on.

As we approach the weekend, expect temperatures to rise quickly. Afternoon highs are predicted to soar well above average, with many areas reaching the 90s by Saturday and Sunday. Some locations might even flirt with record highs!

By Sunday, stronger winds near the Rio Grande could create conditions that are close to critical for fires. It’s a good reminder to stay safe and be cautious if you’re outdoors.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK

Looking ahead to early next week, temperatures might cool down just a bit thanks to a weak front moving through. However, it’s still expected to be warmer than usual for this time of year.

In summary, prepare for 90s by the weekend, but don’t forget that humidity will stay low!
