FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
Today is shaping up to be hot and humid, so make sure to stay hydrated! Morning clouds will gradually clear out, leading to a sunny afternoon. High temperatures are expected to exceed 90°F, with heat index values climbing into the upper 90s. Fortunately, a nice breeze will help ease the heat compared to Monday. Keep in mind that there’s a small chance (about 10%) for a stray storm in the Hill Country, but don’t count on it.
Today’s Forecast
Looking ahead to Wednesday, a cold front is expected to roll in around midday. As this front approaches, isolated storms could pop up along its path. If storms do develop, they may bring severe weather with threats of hail and gusty winds. Before the front arrives, temperatures will peak in the low 80s. While it won’t be a drastic change, the front will help lower humidity levels in the afternoon, with temperatures dropping to the 60s by Thursday morning.
A cold front will arrive midday tomorrow with isolated storms
On Friday, after a relatively quiet Thursday, another storm system will make its way from the west. Unfortunately, the chance for rain will be brief. A few showers and storms might occur late Thursday night into early Friday morning. The main highlight will be a strong cold front pushing through afterwards. Expect much cooler temperatures on Saturday with highs only reaching around 70°F and morning lows dipping into the low 50s by Sunday.
