In other news, El Nino continues to strengthen. This phenomenon has been evident when comparing the Pacific hurricane season, which has been quite active, to the Atlantic hurricane season, which remains extremely quiet. This typically indicates a wetter-than-normal winter for South Texas, which could affect various outdoor activities and water resources in the region.
