FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

FORECAST

TODAY

Today, expect a mix of clouds and sunshine. After a brief period of morning clouds, the skies will clear up a bit, leading to a partly cloudy afternoon. It’s going to be hot, and with that heat comes humidity, so prepare for heat index values to rise.

In addition, there’s a weak disturbance in the weather pattern that could spark some storms in West Texas later today. Areas like Del Rio and Eagle Pass may experience these storms this evening, but San Antonio should remain dry.

Today’s Forecast

WEEKEND

Looking ahead to the weekend, expect morning cloud cover to linger on both Saturday and Sunday. There’s a chance of light drizzle or a few sprinkles on Sunday morning, but afternoons will be warm and humid, so stay hydrated!

ACTIVE NEXT WEEK

As we move into next week, the weather is expected to become more active. Isolated storms may develop on Monday evening, and while it’s hard to predict exactly where these storms will occur, any that do form could pack a punch with severe weather.

On Tuesday, a weak front will be moving into North Texas, which will increase the chances of rain. Again, the timing and location of any storms are uncertain, but keep an eye out for potential severe weather. Beyond Tuesday, the rain chances could continue, possibly extending through Memorial Day weekend.
