SAN ANTONIO – If you’re looking for a fun and affordable outing this Wednesday, the San Antonio Zoo has something special for you! It’s Locals Day, which means discounted admission for Bexar County residents.

On Wednesday, July 22, all Bexar County residents can enjoy a trip to the zoo for just $8. The zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., giving you plenty of time to explore.

This week’s Locals Day is extra special as it celebrates each City Council district and Bexar County precinct, according to a news release from the San Antonio Zoo.

In addition to the discounted tickets, there will be “special activations” from CPS Energy and Bexar County to enhance your visit. It’s a great opportunity to engage with local initiatives while enjoying the zoo.

To purchase Locals Day tickets, make sure one person in your party brings an ID or utility bill that shows a Bexar County address. Tickets can be conveniently bought online.

If you can’t make it this Wednesday, don’t worry! The San Antonio Zoo has more Locals Days planned throughout the year, so keep an eye out for those opportunities.
