SAN ANTONIO – Six Flags Fiesta Texas has recently announced a significant update to its guest policy aimed at enhancing safety within the park. This new measure, termed an “enhanced chaperone policy,” will be implemented for the final weekend of March, specifically on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29.

Under this policy, all guests aged 17 years or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old. This chaperone must remain with the minor guests throughout the duration of their visit, from park opening to closing time. The decision to reinstate this policy aligns with the park’s commitment to ensuring a safe, family-friendly atmosphere for all visitors.

To enforce this policy, chaperones will be required to present a valid form of identification at the entry gates. Importantly, each chaperone may supervise a maximum of five guests aged 17 or younger. This limitation is designed to maintain a manageable and safe environment for both guests and staff.

The park has made it clear that guests found unaccompanied inside the park will face removal. Additionally, those attempting to enter the amusement venue without an appropriate chaperone will not be permitted entry. This policy applies universally to all ticket holders and season pass holders, underscoring the park’s unwavering focus on safety.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas emphasizes that the safety of its guests and employees is a top priority. “The safety of our guests and associates remains a top priority at Six Flags Fiesta Texas,” the park stated in a recent announcement, reflecting their commitment to a secure experience for families visiting the park.

This policy had previously been enforced last spring, illustrating the park’s proactive approach to address safety concerns within its premises. The reinstatement of this chaperone policy is a testament to the park’s commitment to evolving its safety measures in response to the needs of its visitors and the community.
