SAN ANTONIO – A tragic incident occurred over the weekend in east Bexar County, where a man was fatally shot outside a hookah lounge. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim as Thomas Wesley Jr., aged 33, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and neck.

Authorities received reports of the shooting shortly after 5 a.m. on Saturday, in the 6200 block of Binz Engleman Road. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar stated that the violence erupted when two men broke away from a crowd in the lounge’s parking lot, brandishing firearms. Preliminary investigations suggest that the altercation may have been triggered by a dispute involving a woman.

Alongside Wesley, another individual, a 37-year-old man, was discovered with gunshot wounds in a vehicle on the opposite side of the establishment. This man was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.

Following the shooting, two suspects fled the scene and are currently being pursued by law enforcement. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a black Dodge Charger, which reportedly has a white driver’s side door. One of the suspects was last seen wearing all white and a bucket hat, while the other was dressed in orange shoes, black shorts, and a gray hoodie with black sleeves.
