SAN ANTONIO – In a tragic incident that has shocked the local community, San Antonio police have confirmed that the suspect believed to be responsible for a fatal shooting on the Northwest Side is a relative of the victim. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at a residence in the 11200 block of Sutton Place, near Prue Road.
According to a police spokesperson, 23-year-old Justin Martinez allegedly shot and killed 48-year-old Erica Martinez. The preliminary report from the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) indicates that Erica was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.
