AMBER Alert issued for missing 16-year-old last seen at Texas A&M University-San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old boy who has gone missing from the South Side of San Antonio, as reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety. The urgent call for assistance highlights community involvement in locating a vulnerable individual.

The missing teenager, identified as Brennan Cervantes, was last seen shortly before 3 p.m. on Wednesday at One Way University, the campus of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. This location underscores the importance of safety in educational environments, particularly for younger individuals.

Brennan is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last observed wearing a short-sleeve maroon shirt, black jeans, and distinctive white and green Nike shoes. In addition, he was carrying a backpack at the time of his disappearance, which may aid in identifying him.

In a statement regarding the situation, Texas A&M University-San Antonio emphasized the need for community assistance in locating Brennan. “We are asking our community to please help us find Brennan, as his safety is our top priority,” the university said. “We continue to work urgently with our law enforcement and school district partners to locate him and ensure a safe return to his family.” Such collaborative efforts between educational institutions and law enforcement are crucial in situations involving missing persons.
