NEW YORK – In a surprising turn of events, actor Margaret Qualley and Grammy-winning musician Jack Antonoff have filed for divorce after just three years of marriage, as reported by court records.
The divorce case was officially filed on Friday in Kings County Supreme Court, located in Brooklyn, New York. It is categorized as an uncontested matrimonial action, meaning both parties are in agreement about the terms of the divorce. Qualley is listed as the plaintiff, while Antonoff is the defendant.
Both actors’ attorneys have not yet responded to requests for comments regarding the divorce.
The couple reportedly separated back in July, signaling a shift in their relationship long before the official filing.
Margaret Qualley, aged 32, has gained recognition for her performances in films such as The Substance and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. On the other hand, 42-year-old Jack Antonoff is a highly acclaimed songwriter and producer, boasting 14 Grammy Awards. He has collaborated with prominent artists like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, and Sabrina Carpenter. Antonoff is also known as a member of the band Bleachers.
The two began dating back in 2021 and celebrated their marriage in August 2023, making this separation particularly notable given the brevity of their time together as a married couple.
