SAN ANTONIO – A tragic incident unfolded last week when a woman was discovered dead in her apartment on the Northeast Side of San Antonio. The police have arrested a 26-year-old man, identified as Montes, who faces murder charges in connection with this case.
The alarming event took place on a Friday morning, just before 10 a.m. A male acquaintance visited the woman’s apartment in the 5100 block of Eisenhauer Road and made the grim discovery of her lifeless body.
Upon arrival, officers observed that the woman had sustained injuries consistent with being attacked by a sharp object, indicating a violent encounter. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has been tasked with identifying the woman and determining the exact cause of her death.
Montes was subsequently booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on Saturday, with a bond set at $250,000. It remains unclear if the male who found the woman is Montes himself.
