BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A serious incident unfolded in Bexar County, Texas, where a 67-year-old man was arrested on charges of sexual assault involving a minor. Sheriff Javier Salazar held a news conference to provide details about this troubling case.

The situation began when the mother of a 16-year-old boy discovered his location and tracked him to a residence on Real Road. Concerned about her son’s whereabouts, she confronted him at home.

During this conversation, the boy revealed that he had met the suspect, leading to a shocking admission. According to the sheriff, the two had arranged to meet through social media for a sexual encounter.

The sheriff confirmed that the boy and the suspect did engage in sexual activities. This revelation prompted the mother to reach out to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, believing that a crime had taken place.

Following the mother’s report, deputies acted swiftly. They brought the 67-year-old man in for questioning, where he provided enough information for investigators to proceed with an arrest.

At this time, the sheriff has not released the suspect’s identity, as he is still undergoing the booking process at the Bexar County jail. The case highlights the importance of communication between parents and teens about the risks associated with online interactions.
