SAN ANTONIO – In a shocking turn of events early Thursday morning, two men were shot after a fight outside a North Side restaurant escalated into violence, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. in the 3900 block of San Pedro Avenue, near Santa Monica Street. Witnesses reported that the altercation began inside the restaurant before spilling out into the parking lot.
SAPD stated that when the fight started, security personnel intervened and escorted one of the men out of the establishment. However, this did not deter the conflict; the same man returned to the scene armed and opened fire, hitting two others.
After the shooting, the injured men managed to drive themselves to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries are not reported to be life-threatening. Meanwhile, the shooter fled the scene, and authorities are currently working to locate him.
