SAPD: 2 children missing last seen on South Side, believed to be in grave or immediate danger

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department has issued an AMBER alert for two missing children, Fidely Alvarez Mauricio, 10, and Neidy Alvarez Mauricio, 13. Authorities believe the children are in grave or immediate danger.

The siblings were last seen at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday in the 1200 block of Logwood Avenue, located on the South Side of San Antonio. They were reportedly last seen in the company of Pedro Alvarez-Castillo, a 48-year-old man who is currently wanted in connection with their possible abduction.

Neidy was last seen wearing pink pajama pants, a black shirt, sandals, and a black shower cap. Her brother Fidely was last spotted in a black and white striped gown and sandals.

The San Antonio Police Department urges anyone who may have seen the children or has any information regarding this abduction to contact 911 immediately. Additionally, tips can be directed to the SAPD at 210-207-7660.
