SAPD: Teen found shot in middle of North Side street dies at hospital

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating a tragic shooting that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old boy late Monday night. This incident has shocked the local community and raised concerns about safety.

Officers responded to a call about a shooting just after 10 p.m. in the 22200 block of Pelican Edge, an area located west of U.S. Highway 281 near Evans Road. Upon their arrival, they found the teenager lying in the middle of the street, and he was quickly transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
