SAN ANTONIO – It’s time to celebrate the amazing educators in South Texas! Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and there are some fantastic deals and freebies lined up for teachers and school staff.

Kicking off the appreciation, Whataburger is offering free breakfast to educators on Thursday, from 5 to 9 a.m. If you’re a teacher or school staff member, make sure to stop by and show your valid school ID to enjoy a complimentary Breakfast on a Bun, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, or Breakfast Taquito. Remember, this offer is valid for in-person visits only!

But that’s not all! The San Antonio Zoo is joining in on the fun by providing free admission to teachers from May 4 to May 10. Plus, they’re offering 50% off tickets for up to four guests—perfect for a family day out! Just have your school ID ready to take advantage of this great deal.

And here’s some good news for nurses too! From May 4 to May 17, nurses can also enjoy the same zoo deal with valid credentials. It’s a wonderful way to say thank you to those who work tirelessly in our communities.

If you’re a local business offering special deals for teachers or nurses during this week, we’d love to hear from you! You can share your promotions by emailing news@ksat.com. This is a great opportunity to recognize and support our educators and healthcare heroes.
