FORECAST

TODAY

A cold front is making its way south into our area by midday and into the afternoon. This front could trigger some isolated storms. If storms do form, we might see severe weather with hail and gusty winds as the main concerns. There’s also a chance of heavy rainfall and street flooding for areas that do experience a storm. So, keep an eye on the sky—there’s a 30% chance of rain today!

Updated severe weather outlook for today. Strong storms are possible midday into the afternoon. Hail and gusty winds are the main threats.

Temperatures will be a bit tricky today due to the cold front. Most areas will likely hit the 80s before the front brings cooler air in the evening. By Thursday morning, we can expect lows in the low-60s around the San Antonio metro.

THURSDAY

On Thursday, expect a much cooler day with a few lingering showers. High temperatures will only reach the upper-70s in San Antonio. As we move into Thursday night, the chance of showers and storms will increase again as an upper-level storm approaches from the west.

High temperatures on Thursday

FRIDAY

Friday will bring a mix of weather to the area. Generally, it’ll be a cool day, with many places struggling to reach the 60s. Showers and storms will develop, especially in the Hill Country, where the rainfall could be more significant. The farther north you go, the higher the expected rainfall totals. Be prepared for possible heavy rainfall and street flooding in these areas, plus northeast winds could gust up to 35 mph. Cooler and drier weather will start to move in by Friday evening.

A dynamic storm system will bring a variety of weather to the region on Friday.
Rainfall over the next few days will be highest from Central Texas and points north.

WEEKEND

Get ready for beautiful weather this weekend! Both Saturday and Sunday will start with lows in the 50s. Daytime highs will only reach the 70s, with mostly sunny skies expected. Perfect for outdoor activities!
