SAN ANTONIO – The much-anticipated Battle of Flowers Parade returns this Friday, promising to attract hundreds of thousands of spectators to the heart of downtown San Antonio. This iconic event is not just a parade; it’s a vibrant celebration of culture, history, and community spirit.

What makes this parade unique is that it is the only all-women-produced parade in the nation. This year, the festivities will be led by grand marshal Tim Morrow, the president and CEO of the San Antonio Zoo, who embodies the spirit of creativity and leadership that the event seeks to promote.

The theme for this year’s parade, “From Pages to Possibilities,” is a heartfelt tribute to storytelling, imagination, and the magic of literature. It encourages attendees to explore their creativity and think about the endless possibilities that stories can inspire.

The parade will kick off on North Main Street near San Antonio College and will wind its way through key streets including Lexington Avenue, North St. Mary’s Street, and Houston Street, culminating near West Martin Street. This route ensures that everyone has a chance to experience the colorful floats, live music, and the jubilant atmosphere that the Battle of Flowers Parade is known for.
