FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

FORECAST

Today, we’re seeing the effects of some impressive rainfall. Over the past five days, San Antonio has received more than 5 inches of rain! This has positively impacted the local aquifer, which has risen over 7 feet since last Friday. Although it will be drizzly this evening, particularly during the first night of NIOSA (Night In Old San Antonio), there’s no need to worry about flooding or severe weather risks.

The first night of NIOSA will be damp with drizzle.

Tomorrow, we can expect more morning drizzle, but there’s good news! By the afternoon, the sun will finally make an appearance for the first time since Saturday, bringing some much-needed brightness.

As we move into the week, a warming trend is on the horizon. By Wednesday, temperatures will approach 80°F, and they will continue to rise from there. We could see highs in the 90s by the weekend, so get ready for a warm and sticky atmosphere during the Fiesta events!

Daytime high temperatures will climb back to the 90s by the weekend.

Looking ahead, Thursday is likely to be quiet with minimal weather activity. However, as we approach Friday and Saturday, the dryline will start to move into South Texas. This could trigger some isolated afternoon storms. If any storms do develop during this time, there is a possibility for severe weather, so stay tuned for updates!
