FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
This week is shaping up to be hot, especially for those living in South-Central Texas. A strong high-pressure system will keep temperatures soaring, with highs expected to hover around 100°F. When you factor in humidity, the heat index could make it feel even warmer, ranging from 100°F to 107°F. Prepare for triple-digit heat by mid-week!

It’s definitely feeling like summer! The forecast indicates that we are in for several days of intense heat. With the atmosphere warming and little to no chances of rain, temperatures will steadily rise throughout the week. Most areas, except for the cooler Hill Country regions, can expect multiple days where temperatures reach or exceed 100°F from Tuesday through Friday.

As we move further into the week, the combination of hot days and warm nights will likely raise heat stress concerns. Make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade if you’re spending time outdoors!
EXTENDED OUTLOOK
Looking ahead, it appears that we will remain mostly rain-free until at least Friday. Expect plenty of sunshine and classic late-July weather. While there’s a slim chance of isolated showers as we approach the weekend, don’t count on significant rainfall just yet.
