The storm has now passed, and rain chances for San Antonio are essentially finished for the weekend. Residents can look forward to dry conditions, with plenty of sunshine and hot temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. Expect highs to reach the upper 90s, with some places even flirting with the 100-degree mark!

While it will be hot, the good news is that most areas are expected to stay just below the scorching triple-digit temperatures that have been common throughout the summer months.
Looking ahead, the extended forecast brings some relief from the heat. Temperatures are expected to stay below the 100-degree mark for much of the upcoming week. There may be some isolated showers and thunderstorms, particularly along the Coastal Plains, driven by the afternoon seabreeze. However, most of South Central Texas should enjoy a stretch of hot but mainly dry weather.
