FORECAST

TODAY/TOMORROW

After an amazing weekend, expect warmer weather today! The temperature will start off in the low 60s and rise to the mid-80s by the afternoon, all under mostly sunny skies. It’s a great day to get outside!

On Tuesday, look out for some morning fog and cloud cover. However, by the afternoon, it will clear up a bit, and temperatures could reach near 90 degrees by late afternoon. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Daytime highs over the next week. More ups and downs ahead.

MIDWEEK FRONT

Wednesday looks to be warm as well, but a cold front is expected to move in early Thursday. This front will cool things down and may bring some rain our way. The chances for rain are low, but they might stick around into the weekend, so keep your umbrellas handy!

Rain chances this week

AQUIFER/LAKE CHECK

Good news for our aquifer! It’s up over 13 feet since April 17th, which is a positive sign. However, we still need about 10 more feet to consider it at a “healthy” level. Every bit counts!

As for our lakes and reservoirs, they are taking their time to react to the recent rainfall. We will need a bit more rain to see significant changes in their levels, so fingers crossed for more wet weather!

The aquifer is now up over 13′ since mid-April.
Area reservoirs have been slow to react to the recent rainfall.
