FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
REST OF THIS WEEK
Summer is officially here, and with it comes the typical weather patterns we expect this time of year. A high-pressure system is nearby, keeping our weather calm and predictable. Expect mornings filled with clouds that give way to sunny afternoons, and temperatures reaching the mid-90s. The heat index will make it feel like it’s over 100° for a few hours each day. Staying hydrated and taking breaks from the heat is essential if you’re spending time outdoors.
Afternoon temps will stay steadily hot this week.

LAKE LEVELS
While the improvement in our local reservoirs is slowing down, we are still seeing some increases in water levels. As of Tuesday morning, data shows that the levels are still rising, albeit at a slower rate. This is a positive sign for our water supply, especially as we move deeper into summer.
Reservoir levels are still slowly rising and will soon level off.

VERY SMALL RAIN CHANCE
If you’re really hoping for rain, there’s a slight chance of a shower or two on Sunday. As the high-pressure system shifts slightly to the east, it could allow some Gulf moisture to move in. However, don’t get too excited; the rain chances are only about 10%. It’s a small glimmer of hope in an otherwise dry forecast!
