FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS
FORECAST
TODAY
If you’ve been feeling a bit stuck in a weather rut, you’re not alone! Today, we’re starting off with cloudy skies in the morning, but don’t worry—afternoon sunshine is on the way. However, keep your umbrellas close because a change is coming tonight!
A STORM OR TWO, SPOTTY SHOWERS TONIGHT & EARLY THURSDAY
Tonight, a storm system is moving to our north, which means we might see a few showers and thunderstorms overnight. For those located in the Hill Country, there’s a chance of experiencing a strong storm or two. In San Antonio, we’re on the southern edge of this weather system, so the risk of severe weather is lower. However, expect some spotty showers around sunrise on Thursday.
Most areas will get less than half an inch of rain, and by 10 AM Thursday, we should see all rain pushing east of San Antonio. Remember, your Thursday morning commute could be a bit tricky depending on how fast the rain moves out, so it’s a good idea to prepare for some damp roads!

EASTER WEEKEND
Looking ahead to Easter weekend, a cold front is set to move through on Saturday. The latest updates suggest this front may arrive earlier than expected—potentially by midday! As it passes, expect a line of showers and storms along with some breezy north winds. The initial rain will likely head south by late afternoon and into the evening.
On Easter Sunday, we may see more disturbances in the upper levels of the atmosphere, which could stir up additional showers. While it’s not a sure thing, it’s wise to have a backup plan for any Easter egg hunts—just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate!
No matter how long the rain lingers, expect much cooler temperatures on Sunday. Highs may struggle to reach the 60s, so plan those Easter outfits accordingly!
A cold front Saturday will kick up showers and storms as it passes through.
