FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS

FORECAST

HEAT AND HAZE

This summer has felt a bit stagnant, hasn’t it? We’re experiencing a consistent pattern where temperatures and humidity remain high. However, high above us, suspended smoke and dust are creating some hazy skies. While this haze won’t significantly affect air quality, it will definitely give us beautiful sunrises and sunsets to enjoy.

In fact, today’s haze is being intensified by a fire located all the way in Utah, with smoke being carried into Texas. So, if you notice the skies looking a little murky, that’s the reason!

Looking ahead to early next week, we can expect a thicker wave of Saharan dust to make its way into the area. This phenomenon is quite common and often adds to the hazy conditions we’re already experiencing.
