FORECAST
Today, we hit a scorching 101°F, and it looks like the heat will continue tomorrow. However, there’s a change on the horizon for Thursday.
THURSDAY’S STORM CHANCES
Expect pop-up showers and storms to become more likely Thursday afternoon and into the early evening. Keep in mind, it won’t rain everywhere! The most likely time for rain is between 2 PM and 8 PM, so it’ll be a bit of a gamble for some neighborhoods. Some areas could see between 1 to 2 inches of rain.
If you’re planning on catching a high school football game Thursday night, be aware that there’s a slight chance of lightning delays. However, the storms should be short-lived, so any interruptions should be minimal.
Scattered showers and storms are expected Thursday afternoon and early evening.
