SAN ANTONIO – A fire broke out at the rectory of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church on the Southeast Side of San Antonio on Saturday afternoon, causing damage to the residence of Father Jimmy Drennan. The incident occurred shortly after Father Drennan returned from celebrating Saturday Mass, as reported by the Archdiocese of San Antonio via a Facebook post.
According to officials from the San Antonio Fire Department, four fire units responded to the emergency call. The fire was brought under control within approximately 20 minutes, showcasing the prompt response and effectiveness of the local fire services.
