SAN ANTONIO – A man was stabbed multiple times Tuesday night inside a convenience store on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded to the stabbing around 9:30 p.m. at a 7-Eleven located in the 900 block of Fredericksburg Road. Upon arrival, police discovered a man, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, with multiple stab wounds inflicted to his abdomen and back.

The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition. Fortunately, authorities later reported that his status has stabilized, and he is now in stable condition.
According to police reports, the victim had entered the store to make a purchase when the suspect entered shortly behind him. An altercation then erupted, leading to the suspect stabbing the victim multiple times.
Investigators believe that the two individuals were acquainted prior to the incident, which may have contributed to the violent confrontation.
Following the attack, the suspect fled the scene, and police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for this violent act.
