SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times by a family member early Friday morning, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
Police officers responded to the scene shortly after 6:30 a.m. in the 5100 block of Grovehill Drive, located near Hemphill Drive, where they discovered two brothers in their 30s engaged in a violent altercation.
The details leading up to the incident remain unclear, but SAPD reports indicate that during the struggle, one brother stabbed the other multiple times in the back with a kitchen knife.
The victim sustained severe injuries and was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have classified these injuries as life-threatening.
