Forecast Highlights

Weather Forecast Overview

The upcoming week is expected to bring some of the hottest temperatures of the year, with highs approaching 100°F almost daily. As students return to school, it’s important to prepare for the heat and stay hydrated.

This heat wave will primarily feature a dry heat, especially during the afternoons. While morning humidity levels may be elevated, they will decrease as the day progresses, leading to more bearable conditions in the later hours.

Understanding the Heat

While the heat may feel intense, the heat index values are not expected to reach extreme levels due to the lower humidity in the afternoons. This means that while temperatures rise, the actual discomfort from the heat may be somewhat reduced.
