SAN ANTONIO – A tragic incident unfolded on the South Side of San Antonio on Sunday night, resulting in one fatality and two individuals in critical condition, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The shooting occurred around 9:48 p.m. in the 130 block of Southwest Military Drive. Initial investigations revealed that the violence stemmed from an argument between two groups of people in the 900 block of Southeast Military Drive.
Following the argument, both groups dispersed; however, the suspect’s vehicle pursued the victims’ vehicle to the 130 block of Southwest Military Drive. It was here that the occupants of the suspect vehicle opened fire, striking all three individuals inside the victims’ vehicle.

In a desperate attempt to seek medical attention, the occupants of the victims’ vehicle tried to drive themselves to a nearby hospital. During their journey, they were involved in minor crashes; fortunately, no additional injuries were reported as a result of these incidents.
Ultimately, the vehicle crashed into an auto repair shop located in the 1700 block of Southeast Military Drive. Tragically, one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were transported to a local hospital where they remain in critical condition.
As the investigation continues, police are actively searching for the suspect vehicle, which fled the scene. At this point, it remains unclear how many suspects were inside the vehicle, and no arrests have been made.
