SAN ANTONIO – A security officer working at a business in San Antonio is expected to recover after being stabbed on Friday night in a shocking incident.
The event unfolded just after 7:45 p.m. at a location on Southeast Loop 410. According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the security officer had detained a 35-year-old woman suspected of shoplifting.

While the officer was in the process of gathering paperwork, the woman attempted to escape. In a sudden turn of events, as the security officer tried to handcuff her, she brandished a weapon and attacked him, stabbing him in the head.
Fortunately, the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries. After the incident, he managed to transport himself to a local hospital for treatment. The authorities took the woman into custody, ensuring that she could not pose further danger.
