SAN ANTONIO – On Saturday morning, a serious incident took place at a Security Service Federal Credit Union in San Antonio. Two masked individuals, armed and dangerous, entered the bank and conducted a robbery, leaving behind chaos and fear among the customers present.
The robbery occurred around 10:40 a.m. in the 6900 block of North Loop 1604 East, not far from Rolling Oaks Mall. According to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD), the suspects demanded money from a bank teller and also stole personal belongings from several customers, including wallets and purses.
Witnesses reported that the robbers were masked and armed, though police have not disclosed what kind of weapons they were carrying. After taking a significant amount of cash, which has not yet been specified, the suspects fled the scene in a silver SUV-type vehicle.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this frightening event, but the incident has left many in the community feeling unsettled. The police are actively investigating the robbery and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
