SAPD, Crime Stoppers seek leads in connection with fatal 2021 shooting on North Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers need your help to solve a tragic crime that happened in 2021. Two young women, Arbranique Johnson, 24, and Roniqua Simms, 26, lost their lives in a shooting that occurred early in the morning on May 29, 2021.

The incident took place shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Fallen Lead Lane, which is near Callaghan Road. According to the police report, Johnson and Simms were inside a white sedan when they suddenly found themselves being chased by another vehicle.

As they entered the neighborhood along Fallen Lead Lane, several individuals exited the pursuing vehicle and opened fire on the women’s sedan. Tragically, both Johnson and Simms were pronounced dead at the scene.

The San Antonio Police Department is urging anyone with information about this shooting to come forward. You can contact Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867 (STOP). If you prefer to text a tip, simply send “Tip 127 plus your tip” to CRIMES (274637).
