BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A man named David Wayne Lamb has turned himself in after being accused of a new case of family violence. This comes after a previous felony domestic violence case against him was dismissed earlier this year.
Bexar County court records indicate that Lamb, who is 30 years old, was charged recently with making a terroristic threat against a family member. This charge is classified as a Class A misdemeanor, which is a serious offense.
The court set his bond at $5,000, which Lamb has paid, allowing him to be released from custody. His next court appearance for this misdemeanor charge is tentatively scheduled for September 16, according to court documents.

The new charge is linked to an alleged incident that occurred on August 7, 2024, involving a different woman. Interestingly, the charge was filed almost two years after the incident, on August 5. During this time, Lamb was also arrested in 2025 for a felony strangulation case involving another woman named Claudia Romero.
Romero reported to the police that Lamb attacked and strangled her in November 2025. However, this case was dismissed on July 10 by the district attorney’s office, raising concerns about the legal process and the timing of these cases.
Currently, court records show that protective orders have been issued against Lamb involving three different women, highlighting a troubling pattern of behavior. This new misdemeanor charge raises questions about why the incident from 2024 was not addressed earlier, especially considering the severity of the later allegations involving Romero.
