SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman, Ashley Pardo, aged 34, has had serious legal charges against her dismissed. Pardo was initially arrested in May 2025 for allegedly buying ammunition, magazines, and tactical gear for her son, who had reportedly expressed intentions to commit violent acts at a school within the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD).
According to court records, Pardo was charged with aiding in the commission of terrorism, which means she was accused of helping her son plan a crime. Authorities claimed that she knew the items she purchased would be used for harmful purposes.
However, recent developments in the case have led to the dismissal of the charges due to “insufficient evidence.” This means that the court found there wasn’t enough proof to continue with the case against her.
While this particular charge has been dropped, Pardo still faces another serious issue. She is under investigation for a separate incident involving a child. In August 2025, she was arrested for allegedly endangering an 11-month-old infant by pointing a shotgun at the child’s head. Reports indicate that she even took a photo of this alarming act and sent it to the child’s biological father, describing the infant’s behavior as being “a brat.”
As of now, Pardo has not been indicted for this separate incident, which raises further concerns about her actions and the safety of children involved.
