KERRVILLE, Texas – A tragic incident in Kerrville has left the community in shock as local police investigate a possible murder-suicide. This discovery was made early Wednesday morning when authorities were called to check on the welfare of a resident who had not been seen for several days.
At approximately 9:45 a.m., officers from the Kerrville Police Department responded to a call in the 600 block of Lois Street. Upon entering the home, they found two individuals, Shannon Ratliff, 62, and Wayne Ratliff, 64, who both suffered from apparent gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
